This would mean that he wrote the work about this date. 2. His works Yailaya is the author of at least five more works on mathematics and astronomy. They are : (1) Ganita-sangraha, a treatise on arithmetic, (2) Jyotisadarpana,' on astronomy, (3) Kalpavalli, a commentary on Suryasiddhanta' and (4) Kalpalata." an extensive commentary on the Laghumanasa of Muñjala whom Yallaya uniformly calls by his alternative name Mañjula.
