Moreover it is not consistent of the part of Nacilketas who is described as one who has turned a way fromn everything other than Brahman-- 'Naciketas would not choose anything but that " (K.U, f. i 29)--to ask for this f swarga' thatis tran . sitory. Further it is irmly established by the Minarhsakas in the Sutra ** Mukhyati ca acc0ddha locat ; o the other hand, the first, by reason of the first command as in ordinary life " (PMS XII ii. 25) that what Is mentioned first is strong only where there is IIatual com1 radiction between things that are equal in number, since the enjoinment (prayogavace in or prayoga-ciahi तेoes not permit non-performance of greater number of sujdaries when it is possible to abancoli only a smaller number of subsidiaries . where therefore things that are mentioned at the end are of greater number the principle that is tailght in the Sutra Byse sayat 36adiharmatted " alone is to be accepted. And it is said in the Vedanta Sutra { }. 34) regarding the cha1acteristics of the Soul, (jira iiga), nmentioned in the text, that it is to be reuounced on account of there being many more qualities per taining to the Supreme Self which are mentioned in the text (of the Pratardang Vidy¢) at the end" He verily takes one do the right act"; " This is the (vetLord of the world"; "This is the protecter of the world "; " 'The Bliss, the Unaging, the Ilmortal ".
