The seeking for the other world never happens to the immature, the inattentive and the deluded by desire for wealth. One who thirks that this world is and no other, again and again comes under my subjection.

bjmbariyah : seeking the means to the other world

balam : to one who is itcapable of discrimination

bramidyantam : with iuattentive mind

vianoheld mu¢ha : one whose 1nental activities are subject to desire for objects

a pratibhati: does not occur

ayam eve toko 'sti : there is this world alone ; no other world exists. One who thinks thus becones subject to extreme torture done liy meThis is the meaning. That there is neither this world nor the other world is the meaning given under the Vedanta Shitg II . 43. * In respect of others, there are ascent and descenut after experiencing at the com mand of Death (samyamannam) because it is seen (in the scripture) that they go there "" by Vyasarya' who adopts the reading "" cycm loko Hasti para uta maji." In that case 'to hin' (asyg) is to be supplied. So also the particle and ' (cc).

nati : means the arregaat (duraini). The explanation for the statement that this word does not exist for him, is to be gleaned from the fact of his excommunication fron society by the orthodox (sist). The word durnmdi goes with the passage blah byat wasgow ipadyate !--again and again comes under my subjection.

It must be noted here that in all the editions of the stribhasa and the Sr. P. the reading of the nuantra text in can b० & * &ava ki thi. The negative particle a before pars 1a doubtedly a cribal error.
