COMMENTARY:

atgreija : by any of not superior order ; by an ordinary person, by one the result of whose study of Vedanta is only scholarship

What is the reason ?

bahudha cityanmatch : considered in different ways; vadibhih: by disputants, is to be supplied

ananybrote : anagavend: by me who is not other than (who is one with the son that is tanght, that is, whose sole subject of knowledge is the Supreme alone (editin) - who has the perception of this soul as Brahman.

prote; when the soul is taught

gatih : what understanding there will be that under standing will not be there when it is taught by a person of inferior understanding. This is the meaning. Or else,

tra: here in the cycle of sandra

gatih: wheeling about st: there is not; this is the meaningOr else

anyaprole: when it is not taught by another but known by oneself attra gotir is : thene is no understanding.

When the reading is anyg¢rokte: taught by another, the meaning is that when it is taught by an inferior person there is no understanding of the (nature of the Self. If it be said that by whomsoever it is taught it is possible (to know) for one well-versed in reasoning (h¢¢ohakthing), the answer ia, aliy etc., because the put is more subtle than the subtle therefore its nature is beyond reasoning.
