xxv 15028 xxv फालवितरणदक्षं पक्षपातानमिझं. प्रगुणमनुविधेयं प्राप्य पद्मासहायम् । महति गुणसमाजे मानपूर्व दये त्वं प्रतिवदसि यथाह पाप्मना मामकानाम् । The idea is this:-"The Lord knows of no partiality. He must distribute fruits according to the deserts of each person. When he sits in judgment over the actions of each individual in company with Lakshmi, out of the whole assemblage of His qualities, His Mercy (दया) stands up and pleads for the erring soul and tries her best to explain away his sins." The following is a specimen of his Varadaraja Panchasat. भक्तस्य दानवशिशोः परिपालनाय भद्रा नृसिंहकुहनामधिजग्मुषस्ते । स्तम्भैकवर्जमधुनापि करीश नूनं तैलोक्यमेव निभृतं नरसिंहगर्भम् ॥ The idea is that although the Lord appeared in the form of Nrisimha in only one pillar for saving the child Prahlada, His devotee, the whole world besides that pillar has within it the Narasimba--only there are Bhaktas of Prahlada's stamp wanting to make him exhibit Himself to us. For want of space we cannot multiply specimens from the other Stotras: We must be satisfied with referring the reader to the Stotras themselves. A study of them will give delight to any Sanskrit scholar.
