where necessary. The text of the first five chapters of Vatesvara's Gola (“Spherics’) occurred in one of the manuscripts used. This has been appended to the text of the Vatesvara-siddhanta and its translation is also given.
It is hoped that this publication will prove useful towards a better understanding of the development of astronomy in medieval times.
