द्युभ्वाद्यधिकरणम् १

द्युभ्वाद्यायतनं स्वशब्दात् ॥१॥

'यस्मिन् द्यौः पृथिवी चान्तरिक्षम्' इत्यादौ द्युपृथिव्यादीनामा- यतनयाधारः परमपुरुषः, तमेवैकं जानथात्मानम्' इत्यात्मशब्दात् । निरुपाधिकात्मत्वं हि परमपुरुषस्यैव | 'अमृतस्यैष सेतुः' इति तदेव

DYUBHVADYAYDHIKARNA 1

1. Dhyubhavadhyayatanam Svashabdat

The abode of heaven, earth etc. (is the Highest Self), on account of (the use of) the term that refers to Him.

In the Scriptural text-'In whom the heaven, the earth and the sky are woven' (Mund.II.2-5), it is stated that He is the abode or support of heaven, etc. Here the Highest Self is so meant, because in the same text the word, Atman (Self) is used viz.-' Know Him alone as the one Self' (Mund. 11-2-5). The aspect of being the Self without any condition, has to be applied only to the Highest-Person. This fact has been supported by the scriptural text 'He is the Setu (bridge) to
