After the completion of the printing and binding of this work, a copy of an old printed book containing a few Stotras of Sadasivabrahmendra was placed in my hands by Polagam Sri Rama Sastrigal, Professor of Vedanta, Madras Sanskrit College, Mylapore. The second work in this book is called Jagadgururatnamala with a commentary of Atmabodhendra Sarasvati. While commenting on the 33rd verse, the learned commentator has given an extract from the last Sarga of the present work. It consists of five verses, out of which only one is printed in this volume. The other four verses are not found in any of the manuscripts used for preparing the press-copy of the present edition. As it will be of great interest to the scholars, I have given an extract from the old book, which is printed at the end of the Sanskrit Introduction given below.
एतद्ग्रन्थमुद्रणसमापनानन्तरं सुन्दरशास्त्रिकुमारपोलकग्रामजातश्रीरामशास्त्रिणां स्वभूते अस्मद्धस्तमुपगते बोधार्यादिसपर्यापर्यायस्तवपर्यन्तानेकग्रन्थकरम्विते मुद्रितपुस्तके दैतीयीकतया समुपलब्धस्य सदाशिवब्रह्मेन्द्रकृत- जगद्गुरुरत्नमालास्तवस्य त्रयस्त्रिंशश्लोकव्याख्याने आत्मबोधेन्द्रसरस्वतीकृते समुपलब्धो विषयः तथैवात्र प्रेक्षकाणां कृते समुपस्थाप्यते यतोऽयं मुद्रितेऽस्मिन् शङ्करविजये तन्मूलमातृकास्वनुपलब्धत्वेन आद्यश्लोकवर्जं विसृष्टो नोपलभ्यते ।
यथा--
"व्यासाचलीयेऽपि द्वादशसर्गे --
एवं निरुत्तरपदां स विधाय देवीं
सर्वज्ञपीठमधिरुह्य मठे स्वक्लृप्ते ।
मात्रा गिरामपि तथोपगतैश्च मिश्रैः
सम्भावितः कमपि कालमुवास काञ्च्याम् ॥
प्रागष्टमाद्विदितवेद्यमुदूढबाल्यं
सर्वज्ञसंज्ञमथ हंसितमात्मनैव ।
श्रीकामकोठिबिरुदे न्यदधात्स्वपीठे
गुप्तं स्वाशिष्यतिलकेन सुरेश्वरेण ॥
