The root ay ryadh is abbreviated to fay vidh in the present-system: faufa vidhyati. 134. The root of krom, said by the natives to form its present-stem according to this class, really forms it only according to the a-class, and the root-vowel is lengthened in the active voice, but not in the middle; thus, atafa krāmati, but middle krámate. 135.
